April 30, 2011 the Upshur County FFA chapter will be sponsoring the Central WV Club Pig Sale starting at 6pm, pigs will be available to look at starting @2pm. Local consignors are putting together some great bloodline show pigs for FFA and 4-H students to buy for their local show. Sale will be at the livestock show facility located at Buckhannon-Upshur High School
The local chapter has a youth livestock show/sale annually in August consisting of Beef, Swine, Poulty, Lambs, Goats, Rabbits, and Honey.
Annually around Easter the Upshur FFA chapter holds a chicken sale. Pullets are approximately 4 weeks old and are sold as purebreeds. Breeds normally include Barred Rocks, Rhode Island Reds, White Leghorns, Auracanas, Buff Orpingtons, and Black Australorps.
We sell mini hay bales. Our size is 8x11x16 inches they weigh 6-8 pounds. We would like to find some round bales of alfalfa and or timothy, please contact us.
My farm consist of aprox. 10 acres of potato fields. We practice in quality of our crops to ensure the customers that they are getting the ultimate product for their dollar.
To go lunches in the deli everyday. We are members of the Upshur County Farmer's Market and hobby farmers at our home. We have a grocery in the front where we feature WV products that range anywhere from WV Jams and Jellies to WV Quilts and Oil Paintings. We are trying to not only support our neighbor, but preserve rich West Virginia heritage that is slowly being lost.

I also specialize in orchard produce consisting of apples, peaches, plums, pears, grapes, blackberries, and raspberries just to name a few. The Late Summer season runs from September 1 to October 31, so members can expect to have 8 weeks of fresh, nutritious and delicious seasonal produce. For the Late Summer 2009 production season we will be offering full shares and half shares. We will include recipes from Chefs Dale Hawkins and Michael Martir with your weekly box.
Shares will be shipped via UPS Ground directly to your home each week. For this reason, we are able to ship all over the state of West Virginia--so tell your friends about us!
